Terms of service

These Terms of Service govern purchases from Valtaro, the customer-facing trading name of this online store. The store is operated and all products are sold by BeckCo Sàrl, Chemin des Trembles 2, 1272 Genolier, Switzerland. “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to BeckCo Sàrl. Contact: prodhav@gmail.com.

Our current sales and delivery markets are the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We do not sell or deliver to Switzerland.

1. Store use

You may use the store only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must be legally capable of entering into a contract in your jurisdiction or use the store with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Product information

We aim to describe products accurately. Images may show illustrative staging, and colors can vary by screen. Exact hardware, storage, accessories, compatibility, output resolution, software, and licensed content are those stated on the applicable product page and order confirmation. If there is a conflict, the product page and order confirmation control.

Retro hardware may be compatible with file formats or systems owned by third parties. Unless explicitly stated, BeckCo Sàrl is not affiliated with or endorsed by those rights holders. Customers must use only software and game files they are legally entitled to use. We do not authorize copyright infringement or distribute third-party content without permission.

3. Ordering and contract formation

Before placing an order, checkout lets you review and correct your information. By activating the button that clearly indicates a payment obligation, you submit a binding offer to purchase the items shown. We will promptly send an electronic acknowledgement. The sales contract is accepted when we send a shipping confirmation, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. We may refuse or cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including unavailability, suspected fraud, payment failure, or an obvious pricing or listing error; any captured payment for a cancelled order will be refunded.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout. Taxes, shipping, duties, and import charges are disclosed at checkout where we collect them. Charges not collected by us may be payable to authorities or carriers in the destination country. Payment is processed by the methods displayed at checkout.

5. Delivery

Processing times, delivery estimates, customs information, and available destinations are described in our Shipping Policy. Risk of accidental loss transfers as provided by mandatory law. Title does not transfer until payment is received in full.

6. Returns, defects, and warranties

Our Return and Refund Policy forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts a consumer right that cannot legally be waived. Products must conform to the contract. Remedies for defects may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund depending on applicable law and the circumstances.

7. Intellectual property

The store design, original text, photographs, graphics, and branding belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or commercially reused without permission. Third-party trademarks and copyrights remain the property of their respective owners.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury where applicable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made. For business customers, our aggregate liability relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order, except where such a limit is prohibited.

9. Privacy

Personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. Shopify and payment providers may process data as independent or contracted service providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes and severability

We may update these terms for future orders. The version accepted at the time of an order applies to that order. If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by substantive Swiss law, excluding conflict-of-law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, to the extent permitted. Courts at the registered office of BeckCo Sàrl have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring or defend proceedings elsewhere. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.
